Its been a long time since I ventured into extending a home and was a little apprehensive in terms of engaging with the right person that suited our needs. Martyn and his team have been great, very easy to deal with, super quick turnaround and my application, simple as it was has been fully approved. Will certainly work with Martyn again and would certainly recommend his services

As I had a few replies via Bark I indicated to all firms that I would be taking some time to evaluate them and not to contact me further for now. All companies except ArchX have followed my request. If ArchX cannot follow such a simple instruction I cannot trust them with my project. What other instructions will they choose to ignore?

I feel completely let down by ArchX Design. The drawings and “structural calculations” they handed over overlooked basic stability requirements, stopping my rear-extension project in its tracks and bleeding time and money. Worse still, they vanished the moment problems appeared. Polite emails, follow-up calls—zero response. My builder is idle, costs keep climbing, and the stress is all mine. This isn’t merely poor service; it’s reckless. Unless ArchX Design contacts me at once with fully compliant drawings and a plan to put things right, I’ll be taking the matter to Trading Standards, their professional bodies and, if necessary, the small-claims court. Spare yourself the headache—choose a designer who answers the phone and delivers work that stands up to scrutiny.
